Client: A well known aerospace R&D organization and manufacturer of space launch vehicles and satellites.
Project Summary: The client offers an extensive range of highly precision required components, tools and dedicated machinery, available in a wide variety of standard & non-standard sizes. The client works on multiple projects concurrently. A massive number of drawings hence need to be generated on an ongoing basis, within project timelines, and at controlled cost. Quality checks was a difficult process by manually prepare all the dimensions and other drawing attributes.
The challenges thus were of time & cost. A large amount of time was being spent on prepare the dimensional control chart. Delays were affecting timely delivery.
CADmarC proposed a software application that entailed automation of the dimensional quality control chart. Dimensions, dimensional tolerance, geometrical tolerance, notes etc will extract from the manufacturing drawing to spread sheet or any other database.
